About Me

Hi Everyone!

I want to welcome you to my website and thank you for potentially adopting a piece and taking the time to look through my work!

Before falling in love with the act of creating ceramics, I was headed down a path in the natural sciences, which will always play a significant role in how I view the world and the everyday decisions I make. I have always practiced pottery alongside my studies, but after graduation I felt the need to plunge fully into my creative outlet and see where it would take me. Now I can’t spend a day without thinking about pottery! I’m at the point where my cupboards are overflowing with handmade pieces, so I figured it’s about time to send my work to those who may want to fill their homes with more unique and functional art. Much of my style is inspired by the natural world, taking inspiration from lessons in botany and the aesthetics of organic forms. I’m excited to delve into this area of focus and share with you what comes.

Outside of my own practice, I teach pottery to adults and children at Groundworks Art Lab in Boulder, Colorado, where I can be fully involved in the lifecycle of clay and partake in their mission of connecting with the community through art and inclusivity.
