About Me
As a ceramic artist and teacher, I strive to add a bit of magic to everyday life through creating functional art forms. My practice is driven by my love of creating, the natural world, and a joy in connecting people to their imaginative sides and the process of clay.
My background in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology drives me to create a sustainable practice rooted in reusing and recycling clay, using responsible shipping materials, and creating pieces inspired by the natural world.
Alongside my personal work, I teach kids classes, where I encourage students to get creative while making a space to slow down, have fun, and form their own connection to themselves and the material. Working primarily on the wheel, I learn more and more every day from my community, students, surroundings, and the endless possibilities of clay. I hope my work can bring you even a fraction of the joy I felt in making it.
